- The applicant must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree obtained from any Institution / University recognized by the UGC/ Government in a 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/3 pattern in the case of Diploma courses.
- However, candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degrees through Open Universities without the above pattern are not eligible for the post.

TNUSRB SI Exam Pattern 2023
- Written Exam Consist of 2 Parts- Tamil Eligibility Test & GK & Psychology test
- Tamil Eligibility test is qualifying in nature and candidates need to score 40 marks and only after this, the Mains examination OMR sheets will be checked.
- The minimum qualifying marks for the Mains exam is 25 Marks for open candidates and 30 Marks for departmental candidates.
